Leah Waessa

Project Manager/Lead Producer

Leah Waessa is a junior pursuing a B.S. in Television and Digital Media Production at Ithaca College with minors in Theater Studies and Writing for Film, Television, and Emerging Media. She serves on the screening committee for the 2025 Montclair Film Festival and has held roles including Creative Intern at American High, Film Education Intern at Montclair Film, and Digital Team member for the Democratic National Convention. At ICTV, Leah produced two seasons and directed one season of the late night comedy talk show After Hours, earning an ICTV Just Desserts nomination for Outstanding Entertainment Producer and awards for Outstanding Entertainment Show and Excellence in Writing. She has served as Director of Photography for more than five student films and has produced projects selected for festivals nationwide, overseeing crowdfunding, scheduling, and crew management. In addition to her production work, Leah also works as Marketing and Events Promotions Assistant for the Ithaca College School of Music, Theater, and Dance, producing social media reels with Adobe Premiere Pro. Experienced in conversational French, Leah brings vision, technical expertise, and passionate leadership to every project she undertakes.
