Zachary Bricks

Zachary Bricks is a film major at the Park School of Communications specializing in lighting, set safety, and rigging. He has worked on over 50 projects at Ithaca College, including the Trumansburg Rotary Club, Ithaca Public Education Initiative, Let's Start Again (dir. Ari Klawans), At the Sight of the Dark (dir. Truman Duren), and Bullet (dir. Mateo Berman-Sample), serving as the safety manager, gaffer, or key grip. He has also worked to improve set safety at IC, coordinating with professors, students, public safety, and risk management to advocate for better set safety resources and programs. Whether it’s making unique lighting rigs or creating new protocols to film in sub-freezing conditions, Zachary works to make the director's creative vision a reality.
