Park Productions gives students travel funds to go to festivals to accept their awards. 

"WATER IN THE CLOUD FOREST"

Won first place in the Natural World category of the Smithsonian "In Motion" video contest and the "Best of Festival" King Foundation award for best student documentary.  The King Foundation Award and the Smithsonian contest garnered $1,400 in cash prizes for the project. 

Screened this summer in Washington, D.C. at the University Film and Video Association annual conference.

BEA ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF MEDIA ARTS

Park Productions has been to Las Vegas multiple times to accept awards from the BEA (Broadcast Education Association) Annual Festival of Media Arts. 

Park Productions first won in the Instructional/Educational category in 2014. Zach Briggs, Dan Doran, David Lillienstein, and Dan Masciari won 2nd place for "Bird Feeding Adaptations."  The video is part of the Naturalist Outreach series produced by Park Productions in partnership with Dr. Linda Rayor and NYS 4H. 

A second award was also received at the same event in the Promotional (90 seconds and longer) category, the Award of Excellence in Production Quality was given to James Earl, Nathan Krauss, and Gautam Singhani for "Ithaca in Action."  They produced this video for the Ithaca College 2013 Convocation.

"Eight-Legged Diversity: Spiders and their Kin"

Won first place in the Instructional/Educational category of the Festival of Media Arts from the Broadcast Education Association. This video is part of the Naturalist Outreach series, co-produced by Dr. Linda Rayor, professor of entomology at Cornell University.  The student winners are Jacob Beil, Eric Flandrau, Daniel Masciari, and Seth Tebo. 

"IC (I See) Beyond Body"

Won 2nd place in the Interactive/Multimedia Competition at the Festival of Media arts from the Broadcast Education Association.  The student winners are Carrie Lindeman, Meredith Husar, Spencer Muhlstock, and Viktoria Schultz.
